I’m Kyle R. Britton, one of the proud partners at Clark Robinson Chartered Professional Accountants.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I started my co-op position with Clark, Robinson CPA’s in 2006 and joined the partnership in 2016.

After doing well in business courses during high school, I thought I would continue my business studies at a university. I found that my accounting courses came naturally to me and so I explored co-op terms for my time off.

I eventually found a co-op position with Clark, Robinson CPA’s and never looked back. I enjoy the daily challenges, planning and social interaction, which are an integral part of my job as well.

Since I started with Clark, Robinson CPA’s, the practice has grown in all areas. Most notably, our staff has increased, and our technological systems have expanded.

To me, the most rewarding part of my work is to help clients in resolving their accounting or tax problems Moreover, I enjoy interacting with my clients and getting to know them.

As my grandfather always said to me when I was growing up... “If a job is worth doing, it’s worth doing right.” I hold that philosophy close to my heart. Whether it is washing my car or completing a client’s tax returns, performing a quality job from start to finish is of utmost importance to me. I also share this philosophy with our corporate culture.

I attribute my success to the fantastic trust we have built with our clients. Our growth is fuelled mostly by client referrals. We believe our clients refer our firm because they are confident that we will perform quality work and provide quality advice.

I certainly have some big achievements that I am proud of, but it is truly receiving recognition from a client for helping them through a situation that satisfies me the most.

When I am not at work, I enjoy skiing in the winter and golfing in the summer. My wife Brittany and I also like to get away for a couple of weeks each year.

In addition, outside the office, I concentrate my efforts on Vernon Public Art Gallery Society as the society’s treasurer. I would love for them to receive a new building. The Art Gallery currently operates in the Vernon Parkade, which is inadequate for numerous reasons and puts our historical pieces at the risk of being damaged.  It would be great to see our Art Gallery grow and contribute more to the local arts and culture and local economy through jobs and tourism.
